Levante UD and FC Andorra draw at the Ciutat de València
Levante UD and FC Andorra settled for a draw at the Ciutat de València in a match where the Levante players lacked the precision to convert their chances into goals against a rival that aimed to maintain possession and struggled to create danger.
Early on, FC Andorra threatened with a shot from Pampín that went narrowly wide of the post. Levante tried to respond with an opportunity from Dani Gómez, but it was ruled offside. As the game progressed, both teams shared possession of the ball and created few goal-scoring opportunities. However, the intensity picked up after the first half-hour.
Levante came close to scoring after a good cross from Óscar Clemente found Dani Gómez, whose shot was saved by Ratti for a corner. From the resulting corner, Sergio Lozano attempted an Olympic goal, hitting the post. FC Andorra responded quickly with a shot from Jandro that missed the target. Levante continued their offensive efforts, with Cantero attempting a solo run from his own half but failing to break through the defense. Óscar Clemente's subsequent shot went over the bar. Just before halftime, Lobete's powerful long-range shot hit the crossbar.
After the break, Levante had a chance to score from a cross by Andrés García, but Cantero's header was saved by Pastor. Shortly after, Dani Gómez's shot was also stopped by the goalkeeper. FC Andorra dominated possession in the second half, but both teams struggled to create clear scoring opportunities. In the final minutes, neither side managed to find a breakthrough, and the match ended in a draw.
