The Levante UD Sports City hosted the first preseason test against the newly promoted CD Castellón. The Levante players took the lead in the first half with a goal scored by Roger Brugué. Although the Castellón team intensified their search for a goal in the second half, the goal scored by the Levante player secured the victory for Julián Calero's team in the first preseason match.
