The Levante UD honors the European boxing champion, Sheila Martínez, in the VIP Box at Ciutat de Valencia. The European boxing champion, Sheila Martínez, proudly showcased her European featherweight championship belt in the VIP Box at Ciutat de Valencia during the Levante UD's match against CD Leganés on Friday. The Levante UD paid tribute to the accomplished boxer, celebrating her recent achievement of securing her third continental crown.
Sheila Martínez, an ambassador for the Granota, proudly represents the Levante UD both in Spain and across Europe every time she steps into the boxing ring. The club considers her victories and successes as a source of pride.
During the tribute, Levante UD President Pablo Sánchez conveyed best wishes for Sheila Martínez's upcoming goal, the pre-Olympics for the 2024 Paris Olympics, scheduled for the end of February.
In addition, Levante UD received the "Velluter d’Or" award from the Falla Avinguda de l’Oest, recognizing the club's involvement in the Fallas festivities.
The Palco L’Alquería also hosted the presence of Rocío Gil, the Sports Councilor of the Valencia City Council, who will be one of the institutional representatives of the Valencia City Council at the event organized by LaLiga and Aficiones Unidas, "Viajes con Encuentro."
The match also featured the visit of Enrique Villalonga, a representative of the AECC of Valencia, who witnessed the action where players from both teams wore the "Brazaletes de esperanza" (Bracelets of Hope).
