Levante UD to Participate in COTIF with Three Teams
Levante UD will be represented by three teams in the COTIF from July 20 to 30. The Juvenil A, Femenino B, and Infantil B teams will compete in the 40th Anniversary of the Sub-20 International Football Tournament in l’Alcúdia.
Pablo Sánchez, president of Levante UD, congratulated COTIF on its 40th anniversary, emphasizing that "they are a global reference and witnesses to the first steps of many footballers." He added, "In this edition, a centenary club like ours could not miss out, because our academy, both male and female, is also one of the most prestigious in Spain."
Juvenil A
The Juvenil A team has been placed in Group B, alongside the national teams of Argentina, Mauritania, Brazil, and Valencia CF. Group A includes the national teams of Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Villarreal CF, and Elche CF. The top two teams from each group will advance to the tournament's semifinals.
Juvenil A Schedule:
- Levante UD vs SN Mauritania: Sunday, July 21 at 11:00 PM
- SN Argentina vs Levante UD: Tuesday, July 23 at 11:00 PM
- S ADH Brazil vs Levante UD: Thursday, July 25 at 9:00 PM
- Levante UD vs Valencia CF: Friday, July 26 at 10:30 PM
The semifinals will be held on Sunday, July 28, and the grand final on Tuesday, July 30.
Femenino B and Infantil B
The Levante UD Femenino B team will compete in the COTIF Femenino Cañamás Naranja against Elche, Real Murcia, and Castellón. Their decisive matches will be on Monday, July 29, and Tuesday, July 30, with the grand final. The specific times for these matches have not yet been announced.
The Infantil B team will participate in the COTIF Promesas Istobal, which will feature nearly 100 teams in two locations, l’Alcúdia and Guadassuar. This year’s tournament includes an Elite Gold phase, showcasing some of the most prominent teams in Spain along with a special international guest team.
