The Orriols neighborhood is celebrating Intercultural Week from May 22 to June 1, and Levante UD is actively participating in the event. In collaboration with various associations connected to the Orriols community, the club organized a guided tour of the Ciutat de Valencia stadium. Yesterday afternoon, a group of residents and youths had the opportunity to explore the stadium’s hidden gems and inner workings.

The tour unveiled areas usually off-limits to the public, such as the boardroom, VIP box with the Copa España Libre as a highlight, the chapel, and the locker rooms, while also providing a close-up view of the field from the pitch. This experience allowed attendees not only to explore the stadium but also to delve into Levante UD’s rich history, from its origins with Levante FC and Gimnástico FC to the merger and the emergence of the current Levante UD.

Perhaps the most thrilling moment of the afternoon was the surprise appearance of Bouldini, a member of Levante’s first team. The Moroccan forward awaited the group in the locker room, capturing the attention of young and old alike and becoming the focus of many photos. Bouldini shared personal and professional experiences with the group, emphasizing three crucial aspects: the value of hard work, the importance of education, and the need to be a good person.

This event reflects the close relationship that the club, through its Historical Heritage Department, maintains with various entities and organizations in the multicultural Orriols neighborhood. Beyond sports achievements, Levante UD plays a vital role as an identity factor for the neighborhood. The club’s involvement in activities like Intercultural Week highlights its social commitment and its influence on community cohesion and strengthening.

Levante UD is more than just a football club; it is a pillar of Orriols' identity. Its stadium, the Ciutat de Valencia, stands as a symbol of pride for the residents, intertwining stories and hopes. Participation in Intercultural Week showcases how Levante UD uses its platform to promote integration and understanding among the diverse cultures coexisting in Orriols.

Over the years, Levante has cultivated a symbiotic relationship with its surroundings. Community and cultural initiatives reinforce the club’s connection with its fans, demonstrating that football can be a powerful tool for social change. Intercultural Week is a celebration of diversity, and Levante, with its stadium tour, has added depth and pride to this festivity.

Events like the guided tour of the Ciutat de Valencia offer memorable experiences to residents and underscore Levante UD’s importance as an institution committed to its community. The club’s history and its role in the social fabric of Orriols illustrate the power of sport to unite people, create shared memories, and build a sense of belonging that transcends cultural barriers.
