Levante UD and José Luis García 'Pepelu' (Dénia, 08-11-1998) have reached an agreement to renew the player with a new contract until 2032, ie for the next ten seasons.
Levante UD are thereby guaranteeing the continuity of one of their players who had the most participation last season, with 30 matches played between the Santander League and the Copa del Rey.
Pepelu trained in the lower Granota categories, passing through Atlético Levante UD, with whom he played 110 games and scored 14 goals. He went on loan to Hércules CF in 2017-18, participating in 30 league games. Then in 2019-20, he played on loan for CD Tondela in Portugal where he was also a key player with 33 appearances (two goals), all of them in the starting lineup, while the following year he played for Vitoria Guimaraes, where he also played a principal role, with 30 games (26 from the start) and sending the ball into the net on one occasion.
Here at the Granota club we are delighted that the union between Pepelu and his Levante UD home is set to continue for a long time.
