The Ciutat de València Experienced the Passion of School Football with 'Todos Jugamos'

The Ciutat de València stadium was the perfect venue where the passion of school football came to life once again with the annual 'Todos Jugamos' tournament. More than just a competition, it was a celebration of the beautiful game played by young athletes, gathering over 100 boys and girls, and much more. An event where Levante spirit was more alive than ever, with the club’s values, best represented by its Foundation, prominently displayed over 48 hours in our home of Orriols.
From the early hours of Saturday morning, it was evident that the highlight of the weekend would be school football. The Foundation's efforts aimed at the youth culminated on the Ciutat de València’s pitch. The boys and girls who attend the Di_Capacity Talks given by our ambassadors (Ricardo Ten, David Casinos, and Mireia Cabañes) and the 'Red Card to Bullying' talks led by Enric Valls, and who then step onto our stadium’s field during matches, had the chance to sign up and compete in 'Todos Jugamos'. Over two days, they played on the synthetic turf feeling like professionals. At the end of the tournament, the students from Monte Colorado lifted the trophy.
In a weekend that brought so many children to the Ciutat, it was the ideal occasion for them to embrace the core values of Levante UD and its Foundation, reflected in the Foundation's daily work. This was especially embodied by its footballers in the intellectual disability sections. They participated in various exhibitions against teams from other foundations and associations (Alaquàs, Orriols Convive, Fundación San Juan Bautista, Foietes, and Fundación Espurna). Special attention was given to Levante UD EDI and, notably, its team entirely composed of women.
The Foundation's and the club’s sponsors also had the opportunity to enjoy the event, both as spectators watching the school tournament live and by playing football on the Ciutat’s turf. This was thanks to a morning of camaraderie involving Caixa Popular employees alongside our footballers from the cerebral palsy team (Levante UD PC) and the mentioned Levante UD EDI.

One of the tournament's highlights was the trophy presentation, attended by several Foundation Board members. Vice President Javier García Murillo, Kika Ruiz, Alberto Molina, and Ramón Escolano, President of the Supporters' Clubs Delegation, were present, along with former Foundation President José Manuel Fuertes. Representing the club was the Director of Business Development, Miguel Miró.
Moreover, on Saturday afternoon, the tournament participants received a visit from Levante UD footballers before their departure to Huesca. Led by their captain Sergio Postigo, they interacted with the children and members of the Foundation's adapted teams, and took memorable photos together.
