Levante UD closes the transfer of Andrés García to Aston Villa

Levante UD and Aston Villa have reached an agreement for the transfer of Andrés García, who will begin a new professional stage in the English team.

The paths of Andrés García and Levante UD came together in the 2021/2022 season when the Valencian player joined the Levante discipline to reinforce the Juvenil A squad. His evolution was immediate. A year later, he established himself as a key piece in the Atlético Levante UD scheme and his work and good performances led him to debut with the first team in January 2023 in the SM El Rey Cup match against Getafe CF. In April of that same year, he had the opportunity to play his first minutes in league competition against Deportivo Alavés.

In the match that Levante UD played in Cádiz, Andrés García completed 50 official matches with the first team. His talent has shone with its own light and, during this season, he has scored some of the most spectacular LALIGA HYPERMOTION goals that have gone around the world and have made him one of the most outstanding players in the competition.

The grit, dedication and commitment of Andrés García, together with his deep bond with the club and the fans, have made him a reference for Levanteism.
