Levante UD and Caixa Popular strengthen ties within their alliance for Granota women's football
Levante UD and Caixa Popular continue to strengthen their bonds in their special relationship for several seasons, especially since the entry of the Valencian financial institution as our 'Platinum Sponsor' for the women's team during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 period. A delegation from our club and our squad visited their central offices to get a closer look at how our partner works.
During the visit, the players Emma Holmgren and Núria Escoms were present, along with Ruth García from the Levante UD Board of Directors, Manolo Bueno and Noelia Mancera from the club's Business Development department, and Vicente Herrero, director of the Levante UD Foundation, of which Caixa Popular is also one of the main sponsors. And on the part of the financial institution, its general director Rosendo Ortí; Paco Alós, director of Social Relations and Institutional Relations; Mar Mestre, director of Communication and Customer Experience; and Neus José, responsible for the Customer Experience Area. Our players, along with the rest of the Granota delegation, were able to firsthand experience both the facilities of Caixa Popular and their customer-centric, responsible, sustainable, and always advanced and avant-garde way of working.
Rosendo Ortí, general director of Caixa Popular, stated that "our vision is to be the most social entity, and what we seek is to have great alliances with the major actors in Valencian society, and Levante UD is a very important Valencian institution for us. The Foundation, now we have entered Levante UD Femenino because it fits very well with our 'Dona' strategy. We are an entity where women represent 60% of the workforce. Being able to join all the values represented by Levante UD and the women's team and the Foundation, we are delighted with this collaboration."
Ruth García, a board member of Levante UD, expressed: "It is important to continue adding alliances. Caixa Popular is a very strong alliance that will help us boost our women's team. So very happy, excited, eager to do things, and to grow what we want so much and fight so hard for."
Una relación entre Levante UD y Caixa Popular con grandes momentos vividos
Juntos, desde el inicio de esta relación, Caixa Popular y el Levante UD Femenino ya han podido vivir momentos tan vibrantes como la fase de clasificación para la UEFA Women’s Champions League frente al FC Stjarnan y el Twente; la final de la Copa de la Reina contra el FC Barcelona; o victorias tan espectaculares como las logradas en los campos del Real Madrid y el Atlético de Madrid o el gran partido realizado por las granotas en el Johan Cruyff contra el FC Barcelona y que terminó con el primer empate cedido en su propio feudo por las culés en los últimos cinco años.
