Levante UD visited the Estadio Municipal de Badalona on the second day of Liga F to face Levante Badalona in a match that promised intensity from the first minute. The match started with a dangerous move in the 5th minute, when P. Fernandez filtered a pass between the lines that found Ivonne. Chacon left the ball behind for Anissa to finish, but her shot went wide.
Levante Badalona were trying to generate danger and, in the 12th minute, they were awarded a free kick in the visitors' box. However, the free kick was of little consequence as Holmgren caught the ball without difficulty. Although the home team was probing the visiting area with insistence, none of their players managed to get a clear shot towards the goal defended by Holmgren.
It was in the 28th minute when Levante Badalona managed to break the tie. Chebbak, attentive to the rebound after a failed attempt, took advantage of the opportunity and scored the 1-0, putting the ball just inside the post and putting the home team ahead on the scoreboard. Levante UD tried to react quickly, and in the 34th minute, after a corner kick by Sosa, the Badalona goalkeeper was forced to clear the ball with her fists, avoiding the equalizer.
In the 40th minute, Holmgren was again the protagonist when he saved a possible local shot that could have extended, even more, the advantage for Badalona. In the final minutes of the first half, Rai came close to equalizing the match, but his powerful shot in the 44th minute was repelled by the crossbar, leaving Levante UD on the verge of an equalizer just before the break.
After the break, both teams had their chances to score. The clearest chance after the break came from a home player who was left alone with Emma Holmgren but sent the shot wide of the goal. Daniela would have another chance close to goal 15 minutes before the end of the game, but the local goalkeeper would save the ball. After a defensive error on our part, Levante Badalona would be in charge of scoring another goal at the hands of Irina. The scoreboard did not move any more until the end of the game (2-0).
