Roger Lamesa in his presentation: "The potential of the players is immense and the responsibility is enormous"

Roger Lamesa has been presented as coach of Levante UD Femenino in a press conference in which he has been accompanied by the president Pablo Sanchez. 

The new coach of women Levante UD, Roger Lamesa, has been officially presented to the media at a press conference held in the Board Room of the Ciutat de València Stadium. President Pablo Sánchez began the event by highlighting the trajectory of the coach during his time at Granada CF, when he took the reins of the team in the summer of 2021.

The president expressed that they had been interested in Lamesa for some time and that they are very happy with his incorporation as coach of women Levante UD. For his part, the new coach emphasized his enthusiasm to compete with the best teams, stating that Levante UD is part of them.

Roger Lamesa was proud of the opportunity that Levante UD has given him to enhance the talent of the players. The coach expressed his surprise and gratitude, stating, "I would never have imagined it." Lamesa highlighted the quality and potential of the team, pointing out the importance of working on the development of the players: "Growing the potential of the players is our priority". He also stressed the responsibility that this new role implies: "The responsibility is enormous, but we are prepared to face the challenge".

Finally, Lamesa mentioned that the team's performance will be evaluated in the coming months: "February and March we will see how we are doing. We are focused on improving day by day". He also referred to the team's participation in international competitions: "The Champions League will be complicated, but this team has no limits". 

The coach took the opportunity to congratulate the recent winners of the U19 European Championship, Núria Escoms and Daniela Arques, as well as women Levante UD B for their victory in the COTIF.
