Levante UD has reached agreement with midfielder Óscar Clemente (Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 26-03-1999) for his incorporation into the Granota first team for the next three seasons, plus a further optional one. So the footballer who was a player for UD Las Palmas until last year becomes the first signing for the 2023-24 season.
Starting out at Club Deportivo Marino and Club Atlético Chenet, at the age of 13 he joined the lower categories of Atlético de Madrid. After rising through the red and white Academy teams, including the reserve team (58 games and 13 goals with B), in January 2020 he made his debut with the first team in the Santander League in a match against Eibar at Ipurua. At the end of that 2019-20 season, he signed with UD Las Palmas, with whom he has played for three years. He has participated in 78 Smartbank League games, sending the ball into the net three times.
Óscar Clemente arrives to reinforce a large area in the attacking part of the midfield, where he can act both on the wing and as a midfielder.
On behalf of Levante UD we welcome Óscar Clemente to our club and wish him all the luck in the world in this new personal and professional stage as a granota.
