Manu Sánchez becomes a Levante UD player
Levante UD and Górnik Zabrze have closed the transfer of the player Manu Sánchez who is linked to the Levante entity until June 2026 with the option of another year. Manu Sánchez (Osuna, Seville, March 24, 1996), from Polish Górnik Zabrze, where he arrived after his time at CD Castellón, accumulates extensive experience both in Spain and abroad.
The new granota signing, being a Cádiz CF B player, debuted with the first team in Second Division B in the 2014/2015 season. In the 2016/2017 campaign he achieved promotion to the Third Division with Cádiz CF B wearing the captain's armband and, in the following season, he went on loan to El Ejido to play in the bronze category. Later, he played for teams such as Sevilla Atlético, CD Tondela, Rayo Majadahonda, Unionistas de Salamanca and CD Castellón.
During his two seasons with the Albinegro team, the defender played 79 official matches and scored 15 goals, becoming one of the key pieces of the team to achieve promotion to LALIGA HYPERMOTION in the 2023/2024 season. Last summer he went to Poland to defend the interests of Górnik Zabrze in the PKO Ekstraklasa. For the Polish team he has played 11 games and scored one goal.
His arrival at Levante UD seeks to strengthen the right wing with his ability to travel, his offensive vision and his competitive nature, qualities that have made him a fundamental piece in the teams in which he has played.
The official presentation of Manu Sánchez will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 5:30 p.m. in the Press Room of the Ciutat de València Stadium.
