The Virgin of the Forsaken visits the Ciutat de València in an emotional event

Yesterday afternoon, the Ciutat de València Stadium hosted a unique and very special event. The pilgrim image of the Virgin of the Forsaken visited the Levante stadium on its way between the Parish of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and that of San Jerónimo. The patron saint of the city of Valencia was carried by Levante fans who wanted to experience this emotional moment dressed in the colours of their Club: Levante UD. Moreover hundreds of fans and residents of the Orriols neighbourhood were located in the West Grandstand to view the image and witness the event at first hand.

The chaplain of Levante UD, José Luis Sánchez; Captains Postigo and Alharilla; and board member Ruth García dedicated a few words to the Virgin of the Forsaken seeking health and protection for all members of the Granota family and with the desire to return the visit after a successful season.
