Levante UD Femenino recovered its winning form after the defeat in the Copa de la Reina, confirming its good consistency in the Liga F with a 1-0 victory against Costa Adeje Tenerife Egatesa. The team led by Sánchez Vera secured the win in the final stages of the first half, thanks to another goal from Natasha Andonova. They managed the lead after halftime against an opponent that didn't pose much threat, allowing them to conserve energy for the upcoming match against FC Barcelona next Wednesday, a rescheduled fixture due to the Supercopa de Clubes.
Levante controlled the game from start to finish, this time without giving the opponent any chances to jeopardize the lead. Andonova's goal came after a great play by Alba Redondo on the right wing: she crossed to the heart of the area, and after a good save by Noelia Ramos, Andonova was ready to slot the ball into the net. After the break, the offensive presence of the blue and red was not as constant, but there was no danger in Tarazona's goal, despite the Levante players facing a headwind. Three points in the bag to approach Wednesday's clash at the Johan Cruyff Stadium with a positive mindset.
