Levante UD sign Ángela Sosa for the next two seasons

Levante UD Women and Ángela Sosa (Sevilla, 16-01-1993) have signed a contract for the next two seasons. The midfielder joins the Granota squad, having played for Real Betis Balompié for the last three years.
Ángela Sosa is one of the most important midfielders in national football since she broke into the top flight in the 2006-07 season, in the ranks of CD Híspalis, and later Sevilla FC. Wearing the shirt of the Seville team, she participated in 68 league games, scoring five goals. Following the Seville team’s relegation, she played for Sporting de Huelva during the 2013-14 season, where she was one of their most outstanding footballers scoring 10 goals; her performance was noticed by Atlético de Madrid, with whom she played for six years during which time she won three league titles and one Copa de la Reina. During this time, she participated in 195 matches in all competitions, including the Champions League, sending the ball into the net on 40 occasions.
Following her successful stint at Atlético de Madrid, during which she was twice named the best footballer in the championship by MARCA newspaper, she signed for Real Betis Balompié, where she was also a key player. Her stats: 94 appearances in all tournaments and 23 goals as a Real Betis player.  In addition, Ángela Sosa has been an international with the Spanish Women’s Team.
