Levante UD transfers Mayra Ramírez for a record sum in women's football

Levante UD has reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of their forward, Mayra Ramírez, in this winter transfer market. The sale of the Colombian to the English club will represent the highest amount in this type of operation in the history of women's football worldwide. The deal amounts to 450,000 euros fixed, plus 50,000 euros in variable amounts based on goals that the club expects to be met, one of which requires Ramírez to play 30 percent of the matches.

Mayra Ramírez joined Levante UD in the summer of 2022 from Sporting Club de Huelva. The track record of the international forward leaves no doubt: 40 matches in the blue and red jersey across all competitions, with a total of 19 goals scored. Due to this performance and also considering the player's wishes, this operation breaks all barriers in the history of women's football worldwide.
