Art and Sport: Levante UD EDI to take part in a charity art exhibition
The Levante UD Foundation and particularly players from the academy with different abilities are once again taking part in a charity event which unites football with art. Indeed “Art and Sport” is the new initiative in the form of an exhibition which can be visited on 10th December as from 6.30pm in the Galería Cuatro located at number 25 Calle de la Nave in Valencia. Artistic work by the boys and girls of Levante UD EDI will be exhibited, together with pieces by other artists.
Now they are known on a sporting level the aim is to show a more personal and intimate side to these special granota players. The Galería Cuatro is making available an area and is also setting up the exhibition with help from their frame and moulding department.
In addition, there will be contributions from artists in the gallery such as the exhibition curator, José Lapasió, as well as Luis Cevaqueba, Jo Belenguer, Ricardo Gil and Lu Gorriz, among others, who are donating their work for the charity event, so they can be shown together with the pieces by the youngsters. The art work will be exhibited in this central Valencia gallery on 10th and 11th December for all those who would like to purchase a piece to support such an endearing event.
