LaLiga, along with Aficiones Unidas, has presented a new edition of "Viajes de Encuentro," its sports tourism project, on the occasion of the Levante UD - CD Leganés match. This initiative aims to showcase the city, gastronomy, and culture to more than 100 LaLiga fans who will enjoy the city of Valencia over the weekend, participating in various organized activities.

After pilot tests conducted over the past two seasons, LaLiga and Aficiones Unidas continue to promote fan travel to showcase the cultural richness of Spanish cities. Additionally, this initiative has the collaboration of Levante UD and CD Leganés clubs, the City Council of Valencia through its Tourism and Sports department, and the Valencian Community through the Tourism Secretariat and its gastronomic network, L'Exquisit Mediterrani.

The kick-off for this edition will take place on Saturday, February 10, in an institutional event at the facade of Valencia City Hall, with the participation of all parties involved. The event will feature Cristina Moreno, Tourism Secretary, Paula Llobet, Sports, Equality, and Education Councilor, as well as the presidents of both clubs, Pablo Sánchez and Jeff Luhnow, and representatives of LaLiga and the fan clubs of Levante UD and CD Leganés.

Thanks to these synergies, during the weekend from February 9 to 11, the more than 100 participating fans will enjoy discounts at the Oceanografic and a guided tour of the historic center of Valencia. Additionally, thanks to the collaboration of L'Exquisit Mediterrani, they will savor a tasting of typical Valencian dishes near the Ciutat de València stadium.

Jorge Guerrero, president of Aficiones Unidas, commented on what such a project means for all fans: "It is a pleasure to contribute with LaLiga in this new edition of Viajes de Encuentro because it enhances and recognizes the value of the fan. This project is an example that fans of rival teams can enjoy together an experience that goes beyond the 90 minutes of a match."

José Antonio Montero, Director of Institutional Relations at LaLiga, expressed satisfaction with this initiative: "It is a pleasure to promote this project for another season with LaLiga clubs and Aficiones Unidas. Fostering tourism among fans with 'Viajes de Encuentro' allows us to discover the cultural, gastronomic, and historical richness of our cities, and we hope to continue increasing the number of editions in the coming seasons."

Once again, the twinning of fans and football clubs encourages national tourism with LaLiga as the link, presenting the first edition of Viajes de Encuentro for the 23/24 season at the Levante UD and CD Leganés match. LaLiga continues to work with Aficiones Unidas to celebrate five more editions in the future.
