Levante UD has exercised the option to extend Giorgi Kochorashvili's contract for an additional two seasons, prolonging his tenure with the club until June 2027.
The contractual agreement between Levante UD and the Georgian player, which was initially set to conclude in 2025, has been extended until 2027. Both parties will continue their partnership with the aim of facing new challenges and furthering their growth together.
Kochorashvili joined the club in the summer of 2019 to strengthen Atlético Levante UD and has since shown steady growth and exemplary commitment to the entity. He made his debut in La Liga in his first season with Levante UD, playing his first match in the top flight against Athletic Club at the Ciutat de València Stadium. The player alternated between training sessions and appearances with the first team and Atlético Levante UD until the 2022/2023 season when he played for CD Castellón on loan. There, he continued his development and gained valuable experience, featuring in an excellent campaign that came close to securing promotion to Segunda División. Last summer, he returned to Levante UD and has since established himself as a key player for the team due to his performance, character, dedication, and determination.
Furthermore, during the current season, the midfielder has had the opportunity to play a significant role in his country's history by helping the Georgian national team secure qualification for the European Championship for the first time.
