Levante UD continue to recognise the great success achieved by their footballer Alba Redondo. While last Monday it was the young players from the Granota Academy who applauded her, during her first training session after returning from the Football World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, where she was proclaimed champion along with the Spanish Women's National Team, on Tuesday it was the the turn of the Men's First Team to pay tribute to our champion.
The footballers and coaching staff in the first team waited for the player from Albacete on the training field to give her a surprise in the form of a passage of honour, in which the women's team footballers joined, followed by a heartfelt speech from our captain Sergio Postigo. "It has been a source of pride for all Levante players and supporters, thank you very much for all your efforts and you will go down in the history of all of us," said the defender, who also recognised the success of the European Under-19 champions: Silvia Lloris, Érika González and Estela Carbonell.
